About Us

Thomas Smyth and Savannah Derr founded The Bar Philadelphia in 2021! The name stems from bartending together throughout college and ties in conveniently with their mutual love for working out, which is where the idea for The Bar PHL was born.

If you’d like to have the opportunity to train clients at The Bar PHL, please fill out the form at the bottom of the page!

Lex Jorge

Personal Trainer

Lex’s overall goal is for her clients to become happier and healthier versions of themselves. She cares deeply about her clients and nothing makes her happier than watching them transition into stronger, more confident, happier individuals. Through her approach in strength and weight loss training, Lex shows her clients what their bodies are capable of achieving and helps them to find joy in the movement of their bodies. She understands that most people feel lost in the fitness realm or don’t feel comfortable training on their own, so that’s where she comes into play to support, encourage, and guide her clients in becoming their best self. Taking on a new lifestyle can be challenging, which is why Lex knows how important it is to be there for her clients every step of the way to help push them in achieving the goals they have always desired.
